What is Poly Resin?
Poly Resin is short for Polyester Resin, which is come from the
oil. It is almost identical to the PVC piping that may be in
your home. It is perfect for withstanding the rain and sun. In
addition to being outside, it is much more easy to maintain than
wicker. The resin is the same color all throughout the strand so
you will never have to worry about repainting it. We use a
mixture of poly resin, and crushed chalk stone to make most of
our products. Once mixed, the resin is poured into moulds and
allowed to set rock hard, it is then hand painted in a variety
of finishes.
How strong are Poly Resin items?
They are fairly durable but we don¡¯t recommend you drop them
or they may chip or crack. These items are also NOT dishwasher
safe, and should be cleaned by hand, with a soft cloth and warm
soapy water only.
